General information about Pamporovo

Pamporovo is one of the most visited ski resort in Bulgaria. It is located in the heart of the Rhodope mountain. Plovdiv is also not so far – 85 km away, Smolyan is only 15 km away and the small town Chepelare is only 10 km.

Smolyan

Ski slopes

Pamporovo ski resort offers from easy to very difficult tracks. There are 25 km of ski alpine trails, 38 km of slopes for downhill, 5 cabin lifts and funiculars 13 lifts with a total capacity of 8500 people per hour. Although the resort offers many slopes, skiing outside is also possible. The highest peak in the Rhodopes – Snejanka (1926 m) is very close and the TV tower too. There is a restaurant where you can see all of North and South Bulgaria. Mountain Rescue Service is available around the clock.
